Role Summary

The Brand Marketing Manager will shape and elevate the Open Fertility brand across all touchpoints. You'll be responsible for developing compelling brand narratives, ensuring consistency across channels, and creating marketing campaigns that resonate with our patients' deeply personal fertility journeys. This role requires a unique blend of creative storytelling, strategic thinking, and empathy where you'll translate clinical excellence into emotional connection while maintaining the trust and credibility essential in healthcare marketing. You'll report to the Director, Brand Marketing and collaborate closely with growth marketing, content, clinical teams, physician liaisons, and external creative partners to build a brand that makes patients feel seen, supported, and confident in choosing Open Fertility.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and maintain Open Fertility's brand strategy, voice, and visual identity across all channels and touchpoints
  • Craft compelling brand narratives that authentically communicate the Open difference—balancing clinical expertise with warmth and accessibility
  • Define and evolve our brand positioning in a competitive fertility market, ensuring differentiation
  • Create brand guidelines and ensure consistency across paid marketing, website, social media, clinic environments, and patient communications

Campaign Development & Creative Execution

  • Lead integrated brand campaigns from concept to execution, working with internal teams and external agencies
  • Develop creative briefs that translate strategic objectives into compelling, patient-centered creative
  • Oversee photoshoots, video production, and content creation that authentically represents our diverse patient community
  • Partner with growth marketing to ensure brand campaigns drive both awareness and conversion

Patient-Centered Storytelling

  • Develop patient storytelling programs that showcase real experiences while maintaining privacy and sensitivity
  • Create marketing materials that acknowledge the emotional complexity of fertility treatment—hope, fear, resilience, and joy
  • Ensure all brand touchpoints reflect our commitment to inclusivity, representing diverse family-building journeys (LGBTQ+ patients, single parents, various cultural backgrounds)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with clinical leadership to translate medical innovations and outcomes into patient-facing messaging
  • Support practice managers and physician liaisons with brand toolkits, templates, and materials for local market activation

Brand Performance & Insights

  • Track brand health metrics including awareness, consideration, sentiment, and brand recall
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and identify white space opportunities
  • Gather patient and provider feedback to continuously refine brand messaging and creative
  • Present brand performance and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership and executive team

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, production companies, and freelance partners
  • Provide clear creative direction and constructive feedback to ensure quality and brand alignment
  • Manage brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources across campaigns and vendors

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • 3-5 years of brand marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, wellness, DTC, or other mission-driven consumer brands
  • Demonstrated ability to develop brand strategies that drive both emotional connection and business results
  • Strong creative instincts with experience writing creative briefs, providing creative direction, and evaluating campaign effectiveness
  • Portfolio showcasing brand campaigns, visual identity systems, or creative projects you've led
  • Experience managing agency relationships and external creative partners

Employment Type

This is a full-time, exempt role based in Denver, CO. The position follows a hybrid work schedule, with some travel expected.

Compensation

The starting salary range for this role is $70,000-$100,000 annually. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
