The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we are focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. 

Summary

What You’ll Work On

  • Define and own the annual social and influencer strategy, ensuring it is efficient, effective, and aligned with business priorities.

  • Contribute to business and tactical planning, translating company objectives into social and influencer programs that deliver measurable results.

  • Set, track, and analyze KPIs, using performance insights to optimize campaigns and continuously improve outcomes.

  • Manage agency partnerships and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring deliverables are executed on time, on strategy, and within budget.

  • Serve as a product and category expert, staying current on competitive activity and recommending strategies to mitigate competitive threats.

  • Lead cross‑functional commercial collaboration to drive high‑quality execution across teams and ensure alignment from planning through launch.

  • Partner closely with Public Affairs to align social, influencer, and PR efforts and support integrated communications programs.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory teams to develop compliant, effective, and timely promotional materials.

  • Proactively identify risks and challenges, and develop creative, practical solutions to keep programs on track.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required

  • Six years marketing experience with a minimum of four years in product marketing

  • Strong social Media and Influencer experience

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards for medical devices or Rx products

  • Ability to work within regulatory constraints and overcome barriers.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use research and media performance data to inform decisions.
    • Ability to translate strategy into clear action plans and measurable results.
  • Digital & Media Experience
    • Passion for social media and familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
    • Experience managing paid media campaigns is preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$148,700.00 – $297,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
