About the Job

We are seeking a strategic, culturally fluent, and creatively driven Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy & Content to shape how our brands show up across social platforms and in culture. This leader will define the social vision, guide the development of original and high‑performing content, and oversee a talented team and agency partners to bring breakthrough ideas to life.

This role blends strategic leadership, creative oversight, and hands-on social expertise. You’ll drive proactive, social‑first storytelling; lead a team focused on execution, community engagement, and production; and ensure our brand presence is culturally relevant, impactful, and tied to business goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a multi-brand organic social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Establish a proactive social-first vision—moving beyond trend participation to original storytelling that positions our brands as culturally relevant.
  • Identify macro and micro cultural trends and define each brand’s unique role within them.
  • Partner closely with brand marketing to translate campaign and retail priorities into social‑driven ideas and narratives.
  • Guide the creation of platform-first concepts, content calendars, and storytelling grounded in cultural intelligence and brand strategy.
  • Oversee internal teams and external agencies through the full content lifecycle—from strategic brief through concepting, production, launch, and optimization. Thinking about how content can be produced IRL as well as with AI.
  • Provide clear creative direction and feedback to ensure content is brand-right, socially native, and performance-oriented.
  • Bring creator-minded thinking; while not a production-heavy role, you have hands-on experience that informs strong creative judgment.
  • Lead and mentor an in-house social team, including content strategists, community managers, and creators.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—brand, creative, media, communications, analytics, and governance—to ensure integration and alignment.
  • Build strong relationships with platform partners (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) to stay ahead of trends, betas, and best practices.
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and translate insights into actionable creative and strategic improvements.
  • Use analytics and platform intelligence to guide content decisions and continually optimize for engagement, reach, and sentiment.
  • Present strategies, content plans, and performance results to senior stakeholders with a clear narrative rooted in data.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, or brand marketing.
  • Demonstrated success leading social strategy and content development for major brands.
  • Hands-on understanding of the content creation process—from concepting through production—and the ability to guide creators and producers.
  • Deep knowledge of platform best practices, social behaviors, algorithms, and emerging trends.
  • Experience leading teams and agencies, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and present clear, compelling strategic recommendations to senior leaders.
  • A culturally attuned perspective with a strong sense of what’s relevant now and what’s coming next.
  • Comfort navigating fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
