The Brand Marketing Coordinator assists the Director of Marketing in the implementation, strategizing, and development of the brand marketing campaigns supported by the company’s Co-Cop program.


This individual is responsible for coordinating various aspects of brand marketing programs which include product go- to-market plans for all DTLR stores, event sponsorships, advertising, research, grassroots marketing, and content
creation. The Brand Marketing Coordinator also works with cross-functional team members to execute go-to-market product plans, on-site activations and provides internal vendor recap reports and decks.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Director of Marketing in developing marketing plans with internal vendors.
- Coordinates marketing touch points for product Go-To-Market plans with the
Director of Marketing and internal vendor partners
- Assist in the execution and communication with local management for all store-level promotions and brand campaigns.
- Coordinates the creation and execution of plans for exciting new promotions to appeal to the target customer' demographics at the store level and online.
- Understands and puts into practice the integration of digital and grassroots
marketing strategies and tactics.
- Assist with submitting monthly CO-OP invoices and reports outlining programs
and performances.
- Assists with ensuring all aspects of brand marketing CO-OP program
commitments are fully executed, stay within budget, and documented.
- Scheduling, executing, and documenting brand marketing co-op-supported
promotions and marketing plans.
- Works with the Digital and E-commerce teams to ensure digital assets are
distributed and brand-supported marketing initiatives are launched on time.
- Assists in maintaining the Brand Marketing Digital Asset Management folders in SharePoint.
- Works with graphic designers, videographers, and other vendors to coordinate
the development of any specified creative work as it relates to brand-supported
programs.
- Aids in the creation of marketing and advertising campaigns to strengthen
Vendor brand identities with our customer base.
- Provide weekly project updates to the Director of Marketing; will include but not be
limited to reporting on the status of prioritized brand marketing projects including budget. Reporting will be both historical and forward-looking.
- Able to develop and adhere to budgets and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years experience in Marketing and Communications
- Retail experience a plus


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive work ethic
• Comfortable with team-based work structure and, when needed, the ability to
work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Pays acute attention to detail and possesses excellent time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Ability to cultivate strong partnerships and develop a repour with identified
Vendor partners.
• Work requires a solid knowledge of business and an excellent command of the
English language to effectively communicate with management, associates, and customers.
• Project management skills including the ability to plan, organize, multi-task, and set priorities effectively and efficiently to proactively respond to changing
demands, from multiple sources.
• Results-driven with demonstrated critical and creative thinking skills.
• Must be able to maintain an exemplary degree of professionalism in all
situations.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
• Possesses problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies for the best results.
• Ability to adapt quickly and react appropriately to business needs and changes.
• Capable of writing pitches, blog posts and articles
• Works to build relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets.
• Stays up to date on the industry’s latest developments, marketing trends,
competitors, and promotional opportunities.
• Has strong research skills and works well in cross-functional environments.
• Comfortable traveling in-state or out-of-state


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• The employee must have the ability to twist, squat, reach, repeatedly bend, and
stoop.
