Your mission

 Pierre Fabre USA is seeking a Brand Marketing Project Manager with a strong focus on skills involving product development   and project management to support the execution of globally developed skincare and haircare innovations for the US market. Experience and expertise in FDA OTC product marketing experience required (specifically in Acne, Sunscreen, Anti-dandruff and/or other FDA OTC products). Acting as an integral extension of the US Brand Marketing team, this role will work in close partnership with the Global Product Development team and local US CDMO, helping to drive projects forward and ensure seamless adaptation and execution of global innovation strategies within the US business.  

 

This role bridges the gap between strategic brand vision, category expertise, and operational execution, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and excellence in product go-to-market strategy. 

 

The ideal candidate brings experience in the beauty or skincare industry, a track record of managing complex, multi-phase projects, and a passion for science-backed innovation, consumer-centric solutions, and collaborative cross-functional teamwork. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Project & Product Management:

  • Lead and manage the US project workstream for global product launches—from concept brief to US market launch—ensuring timely, on-budget execution aligned with US strategic goals. 

  • Partner with Global Product Development, R&D, and CDMO to support and advocate for US needs during formulation, testing, and innovation planning. 

  • Use US industry knowledge, consumer trends, and brand science to support data-driven product development recommendations. 

  • Collaborate with the Global team and internal cross-functional partners (Regulatory, Packaging, Finance, Operations, Medical Affairs, etc.) to align on timelines, milestones, and risk assessments. 

  • Coordinate and facilitate project status meetings, providing clear updates and escalating issues when necessary. 

  • Oversee packaging artwork and copy development in collaboration with Creative, Regulatory, and Global counterparts and advocate for US perspectives and regulatory requirements 

  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing Director and Finance to conduct pricing analysis and P&L modeling in support of launch viability. 

  • Support go-to-market strategy by developing compelling product communication, validated claims, and marketing assets tailored to the US market. 

 

Strategic Innovation & Road mapping: 

  • Work closely with the US Brand Marketing team and Global Innovation & Product Development teams to build and refine the 3-year US innovation pipeline for skincare and haircare. 

  • Translate US consumer needs and market opportunities into actionable project briefs that align with global timelines and brand objectives. 

  • Contribute to US portfolio strategy by analyzing competitive activity, category performance, and white space opportunities. 

  • Serve as a liaison between US Marketing and Global Brand Marketing teams, ensuring feedback loops and market needs are clearly communicated and considered in global plans. 

  • Support US Brand Marketing team with strategic planning, campaign and US activation briefs to internal stakeholders. 

 

Briefing, Formulation & Testing Oversight:

  • Draft and manage product briefs in partnership with Global, including performance expectations, clinical testing needs, claims, and marketing requirements. 

  • Collaborate with Global R&D and CDMO to ensure formulation direction aligns with US market needs and regulatory requirements. 

  • Coordinate US participation in formula evaluations, consumer testing, and focus groups—providing feedback back to Global and CDMO partners. 

  • Partner with Regulatory and Legal to support US alignment on claims, substantiation, and safety protocols. 

 

Vendor & Global Stakeholder Management:

  • Represent the US Brand Marketing voice during vendor discussions, innovation reviews, and Global kick-off meetings. 

  • Build strong relationships with Global Brand Marketing, CDMO and external partners to ensure shared understanding of project scope, timing, and market objectives. 

  • Act as a consistent advocate for the US market within Global cross-functional forums, pushing projects forward while maintaining alignment. 

 

Operational Excellence & Process Management 

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, transparency, and accountability across product development cycles. 

  • Maintain clear project documentation and communication workflows to enable smooth cross-functional collaboration across US and Global teams. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and solution-oriented teamwork 

  • Other Duties as described by the business.  

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, innovation, or product development in the skincare and/or haircare industry. US market knowledge . 

  • Experience and expertise in FDA OTC product marketing experience required (specifically in Acne, Sunscreen, Anti-dandruff and/or other FDA OTC products) 

  • Proven success managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders across global and regional teams. 

  • Strong understanding of skincare science, clinical testing, formulation evaluation, and ingredient trends.  

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Proficient in project management tools, timeline tracking, and operational frameworks. 

  • Collaborative, agile, and highly solution-oriented mindset. 

  • Experience using project management tools a strong plus 

  • Passion for beauty and innovation, with a strong pulse on industry trends 

 

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work: 

  • This position based out of NJ with a flexible, hybrid work from home 3 days per week. 

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment This is a largely sedentary role; however, it requires the ability to lift marketing materials, open product cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.  

  • The normal working hours of the office are from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000

This range represents the base annual full-time salary for all positions within the applicable job grade. The actual salary offer will depend on a range of factors including experience, education, location, and other relevant qualifications. This position is also eligible for a Pierre Fabre bonus, commission, or incentive program in addition to the base pay.
