About the Role:
The Director of Brand Marketing will lead efforts to strengthen CloudZero’s brand positioning, increase awareness, and ensure consistency across all brand touch-points. You’ll develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns that reinforce CloudZero’s thought leadership, customer impact, and category leadership in cloud cost optimization.

What You'll Do
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Develop and execute a comprehensive brand marketing strategy that drives awareness, preference, and differentiation in the cloud cost management space.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels, including social media, website, content, events, PR, and digital campaigns.
Conduct competitive research and industry analysis to refine CloudZero’s brand positioning and category leadership.
Content & Thought Leadership
Work closely with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and the PR agency to amplify CloudZero’s thought leadership through compelling storytelling, reports, blogs, podcasts, videos, and organic social media.
Drive the development of executive brand presence, positioning CloudZero leadership as industry experts through speaking engagements, interviews, and byline articles.
Own the production of flagship brand campaigns, such as annual industry reports, awards submissions, and category-defining content.
Own our organic social media channel strategy and content creation to ensure we increase our followers and engage with existing followers, including elevating our CEO and CTO’s presence on LinkedIn.
Own our voice of the customer strategy by creating public-facing customer case studies as well as customer proof points to help sales accelerate deals.
Oversee brand performance metrics, measuring brand awareness, share of voice, and campaign effectiveness.
Design & Visual Brand
Oversee the evolution of CloudZero’s visual brand identity, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across all channels, campaigns, and assets.
Partner closely with internal design resources and external agencies to create compelling visuals, digital experiences, and event materials that reflect and elevate the CloudZero brand.
Guide the creative direction for brand campaigns, product launches, social content, videos, and sales enablement, ensuring they are visually engaging and aligned with our brand positioning.
Ensure all brand guidelines are up-to-date, accessible, and adopted company-wide to maintain a cohesive and modern brand presence.
10+ years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, or communications—preferably in B2B SaaS, cloud, or FinOps.
Strong storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging narratives.
Experience developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and audience engagement.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions, working closely with Product Marketing, PR, Revenue and Growth Marketing, and Sales.
Passion for cloud technology, AI, and FinOps trends—with a drive to position CloudZero as the market leader.
