About GOAT

At GOAT, part of WPP Media, we are one of the world's leading global influencer marketing agencies. We design and manage data-driven and creative influencer campaigns that connect brands with their target audiences authentically and effectively. We are seeking a strategic and inspiring Director, Influencer Marketing to lead our agency's vision and drive our success in the influencer marketing space.

Position Summary:

In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of GOAT's influencer marketing department, leading the team, and driving the department's commercial growth. By staying ahead of the latest industry trends and innovations, you will maximize the agency's service quality and competitive advantage, while also managing key client relationships to deepen business partnerships and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and lead the implementation of the agency's vision, strategy, and goals for influencer marketing.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the influencer marketing team, ensuring their continuous professional growth and development.
  • Commercial Growth & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead high-level client pitches, and strategically expand the agency's client portfolio.
  • Financial Management: Take full ownership of the department's budget, revenue targets, and profitability (P&L).
  • Innovation & Service Development: Continuously evolve the agency's services, tools, and processes by closely monitoring industry innovations, new platforms, and technologies.
  • Senior Client Relations: Manage relationships with key strategic clients, ensure top-tier client satisfaction, and build long-term business partnerships.
  • Cross-Departmental Integration: Work in harmony with other department leaders (Strategy, Data, Creative, Media, etc.) to deliver integrated and holistic solutions to clients.
  • Industry Representation: Represent GOAT at industry events, panels, and in publications to contribute to the agency's thought leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive experience in influencer marketing, either agency or brand-side.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing successful and measurable influencer marketing strategies for major brands.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in budget management (P&L) and business development.
  • Excellent senior-level presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking ability with skills in solving complex problems.
  • Strong relationships with key players in the industry (influencers, agencies, platforms).
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

  • Demonstrated success in agency growth and new business development.
  • In-depth knowledge of MarTech and AdTech tools.
