The Role:
Indie Consulting is seeking an experienced Influencer Strategist to lead the strategic development and optimization of influencer marketing programs across a leading global beauty client.
This role will lead cross-functional partners, agencies, and client teams to deliver best-in-class influencer strategies that blend creative storytelling, cultural insight, and measurable business impact.
The ideal candidate is an agile, strategic thinker with deep experience in influencer marketing, strong familiarity with beauty and personal care categories, and the ability to balance creative vision with performance-driven results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of an elevated, strategically aligned influencer marketing program that drives growth, brand relevance, and cultural impact.
- Establish and align on key KPIs for influencer campaigns, ensuring clarity of objectives across awareness, engagement, and conversion goals.
- Develop and present comprehensive influencer program plans outlining campaign priorities, agency briefs, ways of working, and optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with internal client teams and agency partners to implement influencer programs across multiple brand categories.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to innovate within influencer marketing, staying ahead of platform evolution, algorithm changes, and emerging creator trends on channels such as TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.
- Lead the development and management of a multi-tiered, always-on influencer strategy that leverages data and insights to inform creative tactics and performance optimizations.
- Ensure seamless execution of influencer content across digital platforms, prioritizing engagement and conversion-driving initiatives while maintaining brand integrity and compliance.
- Build, maintain, and refine systems for tracking and measuring both earned and paid influencer ROI, delivering consistent performance insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally to align influencer strategy with broader marketing, social, and communications objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to client and agency partners, providing recommendations for continuous improvement, innovation, and impact.
