Job Description Summary

Responsible for reviews and auditing of Player Development and Social Media & Influencer Marketing Departments as they pertain to Federal, State, MICS and Company Internal Controls and Regulations to ensure accuracy, integrity and audit scrutiny. The Player Development/Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist will receive direction and work closely with the ACGC Director of Compliance, for the Agua Caliente Gaming Commission.      

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Primary responsibility is the review and auditing of ACBCI Player Development/Social Media & Influencer Marketing Departments.
  • Receive and review all MSA/LOA contract agreements and Media Request Forms for filming on property.
  • Weekly reviews of all Influencer’s Player Accounts for reconciliation of issuance of all offers, comps, and other incentives.
  • Responsible for identifying potential problems and risks with respect to the offers, comps and other incentives being offered by the ACBCI Casino Operations.
  • Generates reports and findings found as it relates to the Audits.
  • Interaction with all levels of the Player Development and Social Media & Influencer Marketing Departments pertaining to offers, comps and other incentives.
  • Ability to write concise and comprehensive reports.
  • Become proficient in all functions and reporting systems for the ACBCI Player Development/Social Media & Influencer Marketing Departments.
  • Ensure that all interactions between ACBCI Casino Operations and players adhere to responsible gaming policies, Comp Matrix and guidelines.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining a department file/computer system so that all information and reports are properly tracked and is readily available to the ACGC Management.
  • This position works from the Gaming Commission Administration Office but may be required to travel and work from any of the (3) Agua Caliente Casinos.
  • Develop an understanding of MICS, Tribal Compact, Internal Controls and Regulations for Indian Gaming.
  • Performs other delegated tasks that may be assigned by the Director of Compliance or Executive Management.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. 2 years of work experience in a Casino Environment.

Must possess the following:

  • Good English Skills, both spoken and written
  • Understanding of Internal Controls, Regulations, Federal and State laws, governing Indian Gaming.
  • Must work well as a team member and interact professionally with multiple, diverse departments.
  • Must be a detail-oriented person
  • Good comprehension skills

 

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs/step ladders and sitting at a desk workstation for the duration of the shift.  Also, may be subjected to a smoke-filled environment. 

Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have the ability to travel to the Tribe’s casinos for processing Compliance assignments.

Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment.  Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a maximum of 30 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to:  a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-lined telephone.
