The Role
As the PR, Social & Influence Manager, you will be the business owner of all organic social, community-related, and public relations programs and projects. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR, social media, and influencer strategy for Hårklinikken, working closely with the Marketing & Brand Team to develop social-first campaigns, build and drive community engagement, and maximize the reach and impact of brand and product content.
This role will shape Hårklinikken’s voice across Earned Media and social channels, ensuring all content reflects brand values and resonates with our audience. Collaborating cross-functionally, the role supports broader goals and champions community-driven storytelling to strengthen authentic brand connections globally.
You will play a pivotal role in elevating Hårklinikken’s global brand presence, driving strategic initiatives that connect with our community and amplify our story across all touchpoints, all while maintaining a hands-on approach.
Primary Relationships
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Brand, you will work closely with the Marketing & Brand Team, Digital Team, and our Clinic Leadership team.
Job Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Brand, develop and manage Hårklinikken’s global PR calendar, ensuring strategic communication across all media channels. This includes implementing global PR campaigns (launch and amplification), press releases, event planning, and influencer collaborations to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Manage agencies while also building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage, press mentions, and partnerships aligned with Hårklinikken’s brand objective
- Develop and create meaningful stories around Hårklinikken and its global community that will drive consumer reach, brand equity, community building, earned media value, and positive PR coverage
- Own and drive Social Media strategy across all relevant platforms
- Own and drive Social Media content strategy for social-first campaigns, ensuring consistency and innovation in consumer engagement
- Own Digital Influence, working closely with the VIP & Community Director, Clinic Directors and our Hair Specialists to transform our global Talent strategy into actionable initiatives within social ecosystems. This will include end-to end management of Influencer Service and management of their deliverables
- Scale UGC and organic assets to support brand awareness and conversion KPIs, managing the platform relationships as well as influencer relationships
- Champion social-first content strategy, capture, and execution across all major touchpoints; including behind-the-scenes content on campaign shoots, on-site content capture at brand events, and guidance on global talent content capture and rollout cadence
- Evaluate the relevance of new channels and accelerate their development, integrating them into both PR and social strategies
- Ensure Hårklinikken is consistently, creatively, and proactively engaging consumers, influencers, and advocates across PR and social media to drive earned conversation and brand advocacy
- Collaborate with Communications leads and agencies on earned media strategy, including talent partnerships, brand events, cultural moments, and major campaigns
- Manage social media analytics and formalize / oversee reporting across channels
- Build and own Social & Customer Community Management strategy in conjunction with our Retention & CRM Manager
Core Competencies
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and executing PR, social, and community strategies within the beauty or luxury fashion sectors (strong expertise in one area can offset less exposure in another)
- Well-established connections with creatives, talents, agencies, and content producers, enhancing the effectiveness of PR and social strategies
- A solid understanding of Community building at the social level, with a knowledge of how-to best leverage talent within the content and PR infrastructure
- Natural storytelling abilities, with a comprehensive understanding of brand, communications, and marketing infrastructure
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in forging strong working relationships across the business, with the ability to influence others effectively towards shared goals
- Leadership qualities that include trust in team members' intentions, empathetic problem-solving, and viewing mistakes as opportunities for growth
- Active engagement and presence in online and social media platforms
