About the Role

The President, Head of Pharmaceutical Brand Marketing Strategy, leads i3’s commercial planning and brand marketing practice. This executive-level position shapes how therapies are brought to market, ensuring strategies resonate with healthcare providers, payers, patients, and communities — while meeting the highest standards of regulatory compliance and market impact.

The ideal candidate has spent the last 15–20 years in leadership roles at major pharmaceutical companies, building a track record in brand development, biopharma product launches, portfolio management, and commercial planning. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a professional who thrives at the intersection of market insight, creative brand positioning, and strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Define and execute i3’s pharmaceutical brand marketing strategy across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Lead commercial planning efforts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and community impact.
- Shape portfolio strategies and positioning to maximize both market performance and equitable patient access.

Brand Development & Market Execution

- Oversee brand marketing initiatives for pharmaceutical and biotech clients, from launch strategy through lifecycle management.
- Translate market research and competitive insights into innovative, commercially viable strategies.
- Ensure all brand strategies adhere to regulatory standards while driving differentiation and engagement.

Executive Leadership & Collaboration

- Serve as a senior advisor to pharmaceutical clients and internal teams on commercial and brand marketing challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional experts to deliver integrated strategies that bridge market success with community benefit.
- Mentor and guide senior consultants, shaping the growth and evolution of i3’s commercial strategy practice.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15–20 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing, brand strategy, and commercialization, with significant leadership roles at major pharmaceutical companies.
- Minimum 5 years in senior pharmaceutical marketing leadership, including brand marketing strategy, portfolio management, and product launch experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical product launches, portfolio management, and commercialization.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and competitive analysis.
- Executive presence with exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical capability and ability to translate research into actionable brand and market strategies.
- Demonstrated innovation in brand positioning, market access, and audience engagement.
- Commitment to advancing equitable healthcare access and outcomes.
