We are looking for a Social Media Strategist, who will develop overarching social media strategies and campaigns to promote Men in Blazer Media Networks media content, increase brand awareness, and engage with audiences. Key responsibilities include creating content calendars, analyzing performance metrics, monitoring social trends, collaborating with influencers and other teams, and ensuring brand consistency across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram to achieve business objectives
Social Media Strategist

What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the media network's goals, including content pillars, platform selection, and audience targeting, particularly as it relates to Premier League weekend.
- Oversee the creation of engaging content (videos, graphics, copy) and manage content calendars, ensuring a cohesive brand voice across all platforms.
- Monitor social media analytics, analyze campaign performance, and provide reports with actionable insights to optimize strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends, pop culture, and new platforms to identify opportunities and keep content relevant.
- Constantly evaluate and brief the MiB social team on the changing nature of the algorithm.
- Respond to comments and messages, foster community interaction, and manage the online brand reputation to build a strong relationship with followers.
What you need:
- 3+ years of experience in a social media marketing role, preferably within sports or entertainment
- An unresting passion for the game of soccer, and an understanding of the history of the game
- Ability to connect social media activity to larger business goals and translate them into effective plans.
- Understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and other digital marketing principles to inform social strategies.
- Proficiency in creating or directing the creation of visual and written content for various social platforms.
- Ability to interpret data to measure success, understand audience behavior, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with audiences and collaborate effectively with internal teams (design, content) and external partners (influencers, vendors).
- Deep knowledge of major social media platforms and how to leverage their unique features
