Role Overview
The Social Media Strategist will oversee the planning, creation, and management of all organic social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This person will develop and execute a cohesive content strategy aligned with the brand’s aesthetic vision, balancing creativity, analytics, and approach to drive engagement and visibility.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, able to independently manage content calendars, design posts, edit short-form videos, and analyze performance data to improve results continuously.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute monthly social media calendars focused on brand consistency, aesthetic quality, and measurable engagement.
Plan campaigns and content themes aligned with upcoming promotions, seasons, and service launches.
Conduct trend research to identify new content formats and engagement opportunities across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Content Creation & Management
Design visually appealing posts, stories, and reels that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and professional tone.
Capture, curate, and repurpose photos and videos from in-office treatments and events.
Create light video edits and graphics using Canva or equivalent tools.
Maintain an organized content library and posting schedule.
Community Engagement & Growth
Respond to comments and DMs in a brand-appropriate, patient-friendly tone to foster community and trust.
Engage with patients, local partners, and relevant influencers to increase visibility and strengthen the digital presence.
Track and report on follower growth, engagement metrics, and overall performance.
Collaboration
Work closely with the clinic’s founders and team to understand priorities and translate them into engaging social content.
Coordinate with external agencies or consultants managing paid ads or SEO to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
Qualifications
Experience
3–5 years of experience in social media management, ideally within healthcare, dermatology, or esthetic medicine.
Proven track record of managing brand accounts with strong visual direction and measurable growth.
Experience working with DTC healthcare and the derm industry is a nice-to-have.
Skills
Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (posting, analytics, and content trends).
Strong design and editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or equivalent).
Excellent writing and storytelling ability to communicate services clearly and engagingly.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
