Job Description:

   

HPE is seeking a Social Content Strategist to support our server social channels, including AI, HPC, and compute. This role executes a social media editorial strategy supporting HPE's brand and campaign priorities, leading editorial planning and active engagement strategy across owned channels. The ideal candidate brings a creative, audience-first mindset, a passion for social media trends, and the ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute a social editorial strategy that supports business priorities, with an audience- and channel-first approach to content planning and creation.
  • Develop strategic social guidance and toolkits to support key campaign moments and product launches.
  • Develop a strong understanding of HPE products and solutions, customer needs, and the messaging priorities that shape the server, AI, and HPC portfolio.
  • Partner cross-functionally with corporate communications, product marketing, performance marketing, and other teams to align content with business goals.
  • Concept ideas for content, facilitate content production, and manage content operations for HPE server-owned social channels.
  • Apply knowledge of social algorithms, conduct platform testing, and stay current on emerging research to inform strategy.
  • Analyze channel performance data and deliver actionable insights to continuously optimize content strategies.
  • Monitor social trends and emerging platform behaviors to keep HPE's content fresh and culturally relevant.
  • Collaborate with community managers to build strategic social listening dashboards that enable active, relevant engagement from HPE's channels, increasing brand visibility and reach.
  • Communicate social strategy, editorial plans, and performance updates clearly and consistently to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Bring a positive, collaborative work ethic and thrive in a high-velocity, always-on social environment.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS degree in Communications, Marketing or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, content marketing, or a related field, preferably in B2B technology or a complex enterprise environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated track record developing and executing social editorial strategies for brand or product channels.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology, server infrastructure, AI, or HPC is a plus — curiosity and willingness to learn is a must.
  • Ability to link interactive plans and activities to business results.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of interactive media, tools and technologies (all channels and pricing models).
  • Strong knowledge of Internet principles and web site production.
  • Strong knowledge of direct marketing and CRM.
  • Maintain the company marketing management systems as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using social listening and analytics platforms.
  • Proven web analytical skills (measurement, ROI, forecasting).
  • Creative thinker who can concept content ideas and collaborate with creative teams on production
  • Advanced writing and editing for the web - very minimal peer or manager edits needed..
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
