Summary

Ideal candidates will be passionate about social media, creative, technologically adept, detail-oriented, confident and self-motivated. Combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presence, including interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content and expanding sales opportunities. Works with marketing team members to create innovative social media campaigns, and also works cross functionally with the Sales, Recruiting, HR and other departments as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation and implementation schedules
  • In partnership with marketing team, create and manage Monthly Content Calendar
  • In partnership with field marketing and sales team, lead and manage paid social campaigns to drive lead generation and integrate across digital platforms
  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages across the enterprise and develop content based on strong understanding of appropriate tone, audience and platform
  • Grow and expand company social media presence into new social media platforms based on a depth of knowledge of what platforms are the best fit for the brand, plus increases presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram
  • Collaborate with creative and design teams to help create engaging content, graphics, webpages and videos
  • Provide training and guidance to external sales teams, corporate leadership and marketing team on social media implementation best practices and strategies
  • In partnership with the analytics team, works to collect consumer data and analyses interactions and visits, using this data to create comprehensive reports and improve future marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Research and monitors activity of company competitors
  • Become an advocate for the company and its front-line sales teams in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions while cultivating leads and sales
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company and report notable threats to appropriate management
  • In partnership with the marketing team, assist with the development of strategies and implementation to promote content through social and digital efforts: ad-words, advertising, etc., and work with analytics team to monitor and evaluate google alerts
  • In partnership with both Compliance and field marketing, regularly monitor employees’ social media for compliance and branding purposes, and work with compliance to seek resolution
  • Partner with the sales team to understand sales funnel performance at the branch level and identify social media levers to improve funnel performance
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships amongst corporate and branch management, with the ability to balance strong & diverse personalities
  • Promote collaborative environment between corporate and retail branch management, with capability to successfully develop and advocate alternative solutions

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or similar field of study required
  • 4 or more years of related marketing experience required with expertise in Social Media channels, within the Mortgage / Financial industry preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in English grammar and diction, and in developing relevant and actionable content for social channels.
  • Expertise in developing concepts for visual content for social media channels, including graphics for posts, profile banners, and story-telling videos and infographics.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-site social media platforms, experience with Sprout Social a plus
  • Knowledge or experience using mortgage CRM a plus (ex: Total Expert, Surefire, etc.)
  • Experience working with branch or field representatives; able to convey marketing initiatives and implementation strategies
  • Knowledge or experience using project management/ticketing software (ex: Jira, Miro, Asana, Trello, etc.)
  • High degree of proactivity and making deadlines on or ahead of time
  • Adaptable to change; able to adjust and re-calibrate timelines, project deadlines and project oversight approach when change in strategy occurs
  • A strong understanding of modern digital marketing principles
  • Positive, approachable, personality; a problem-solver vs problem-finder mindset
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization and within the division
  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry and how the mortgage process works is preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to our users. Treat internal and external customers with a friendly, helpful attitude, being a good listener, using patience and positive language, while respecting and meeting project timelines.
  • Strong, detail-oriented work ethic, problem solving & troubleshooting skills, organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to multi-task in fast moving environment.  Must be able to prioritize tasks daily in order to meet department goals, while showing initiative to lead small projects independently, and keep managers informed of problems. Must be a quick learner with the desire to improve skills.

Pay range is $50,000 - $55,000 annually

This is an in-office role in Brookfield, WI
