About the Role
Our client is looking to launch and scale their presence on LinkedIn through paid advertising. We’re
seeking a freelance Social Media Strategist with a strong track record in LinkedIn campaign planning,
creative development, and performance optimization. This Rosie will collaborate with the marketing lead
and/or executive stakeholders to stand up a thoughtful pilot, set benchmarks, and guide future
investment.
Prioritized Responsibilities
● Define the paid social strategy with a focus on LinkedIn, including channel role, audience
segmentation, spend recommendations, and flighting
● Build and manage paid campaigns end-to-end, including copy, assets, audience setup, A/B
testing, and reporting
● Translate key brand and product messages into compelling ad creative that aligns with the
brand’s tone and visual identity
● Analyze campaign performance and optimize in-flight to meet defined KPIs (CTR, CPC, CVR, etc.)
● Collaborate with Creative Director and Video Producer to adapt campaign assets and messaging
for paid performance
● Report regularly on campaign insights and recommend next steps
● 3+ years of experience in paid social strategy and execution
● Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Ads (must-have), with bonus points for experience with Meta,
Google Display, or programmatic
● Comfortable writing paid social copy and reviewing/editing visuals for ad performance
● Experience supporting early-stage brands or helping stand up new performance programs
● Detail-oriented, self-starting, and comfortable with a flexible, fast-paced startup environment
