This is a remote position.
Flexible 20 hours a week, with bi-weekly catch ups within Eastern business hours
Mix of video editing (time requirement varies by project complexity) and content strategy work.
Content scope includes personal branding, business promotion, music industry thought leadership, and client support.
Cross-platform management across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads.
Long-term opportunity with growth potential as content volume expands.
Edit short-form videos (30–45 seconds) for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and Threads.
Handle occasional long-form video editing for YouTube.
Create, resize, and adapt content across multiple platforms.
Execute content calendar planning and manage posting schedules.
Edit a mix of simple talking-head videos with captions and more complex UGC/vlog-style content.
Support personal branding, business promotion, and client content needs.
Manage 5–10 posts per week across Threads, plus 2–3 posts per week on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Create case studies and thought leadership content (with emphasis on the music industry).
Review performance metrics, analyze engagement, and make content optimizations.
Contribute to content strategy and campaign setup, including support on client campaigns.
Follow established content workflows while proactively suggesting improvements.
Proficiency in video editing software for both short-form and long-form content.
Strong knowledge of social media content creation and platform-specific formatting.
Understanding of content strategy, campaign execution, and analytics.
Ability to work with both simple and complex editing projects.
Awareness of current social media trends, especially UGC and vlog styles.
Experience in cross-platform content adaptation and resizing.
Strong attention to detail in caption/hook creation, descriptions, and optimization.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple content streams, and meet deadlines.
