POSITION SUMMARY


Being an effective Influencer Strategist means you’ve spent a few years learning the tricks of the trade and are ready to put your skills to work helping a fast-growing agency.


If you have tangible experience activating influencers for compelling campaigns grounded in meaningful content and effective social tactics, we’d like to hear from you.


We’re looking for a self-starter who has a passion for strategic and creative thinking, coupled with a natural ability to build deep relationships (both with influencers and clients). 


You live and breathe social, are constantly on the pulse of how influencer marketing is evolving – knows what works, what doesn’t and isn’t afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to leveraging content creators to achieve best in class results. In this role, you will support the development of strategic roadmaps rooted in driving client business objectives through to a flawless execution.


Bilingual in French and English is mandatory. There is the option for this position to be fully remote or hybrid. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Strategic Planning and Research:

  • Support in the development of influencer strategies to inspire cutting edge solutions/creative/executions for our clients.
  • Identify new opportunities for influencer programs, enforce processes, provide quality assurance and implement best practices across all engagements
  • Manage multiple influencer projects from end to end from identification to execution by anticipating challenges while ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Creation of creative briefs, and client-facing POVs as required
  • Contribute to content mapping, channel planning and social media strategy
  • Collaborate and communicate with Creative, Project Management & Client Management groups to enable impactful creative that delivers on, and exceeds, client objectives

Influencer Outreach and Management:

  • Identify digital influencers and establish and foster key relationships that convert into meaningful content for clients
  • Lead the development of content briefing documents for influencers that outline program details, campaign objectives and content expectations as it relates to the program’s strategic direction.
  • Demonstrate proficiency while taking the lead on making influencer recommendations and content direction while ensuring that it fits into the strategic approach.
  • Act as client facing representative on influencer programs, when required
  • Track budgets and schedules to ensure deliverables are executed on time and on budget

Research and Reporting:

  • Research and evaluate industry trends and emerging opportunities in the digital, social and influencer space.
  • Measure, monitor, and report ongoing results & ROI for multiple clients and campaigns
  • Experience with social/influencer platforms such as Sprout, Sprinklr, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Fluent in French and English
  • 3+ years of experience with influencer marketing & digital strategy
  • Strong understanding of the Quebec and French-Canadian influencer landscape and culture
  • Background in influencer marketing with experience managing campaigns end-to-end, including tactical planning, negotiations, outreach and reporting. 
  • High comfort level with research and data, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Passion for influencer marketing and how it fits into the overall strategic plan.
  • Able to think in ‘integrated’; not just great executions, but great experiences across an ecosystem
  • Strong and enthusiastic presenter, with the ability to craft simple, compelling and impactful presentations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects while maintaining a sense of perspective.
  • Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems on the fly, and communicate with those around you
  • Relentlessly curious and excited to learn at every possible opportunity
