The Social Media & Influencer Marketing Intern will support Simon’s Digital Marketing team in driving engaging content and influencer initiatives across corporate and center-level channels. Responsibilities include assisting with social media content curation, short-form video creation, email campaigns, website updates, and the development and execution of influencer marketing campaigns in partnership with our agency. The intern will help identify and connect with potential influencers, coordinate and repurpose content across digital platforms, and monitor campaign performance. They will also contribute to market research, trend analysis, and cross-department collaboration to ensure consistent messaging and a social-first approach to marketing. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, making it ideal for individuals passionate about digital marketing, content creation, influencer strategy, and pop culture trends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and Identify Influencers: Find and evaluate potential influencers who align with Simon’s brand values and target audience.
- Content Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating content creation, ensuring it meets campaign goals and brand guidelines.
- Campaign Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, using metrics like engagement rates, reach, and conversions.
- Trendspotting: Conduct research on current trends, competitor activities, and new platforms to keep the team informed and competitive.
- Administrative Support: Handle various administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing reports.
- Creative Input: Contribute ideas for new campaigns, content themes, and innovative ways to engage the audience.
- Copywriting for Digital Channels: Create engaging and persuasive copy for various digital platforms, including websites, email campaigns, and social posts.
- Short-Form Video Creation: Develop and produce short-form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, while staying updated on current video trends and best practices to create compelling content.
- Learning and Using Internal CMS Tool: Gain proficiency in using the company’s Content Management System (CMS) to update and manage website content.
- Social Media Management: Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling social media posts across various platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and influencer marketing trends.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
